20th century art movement

I will be looking at art in the 20th century and the movement which art created throughout the years, I have used the website Pinterest because you are able to collect photos together and organise them into mood boards.  

Art Nouveau
This form of art was noticed in the 1890's til the 1910 however, it was re-discovered in the 1960's when it came popular again. Art Nouveau is considered a New Art because of the style, it is inspired by natural flowing forms and curvy effect. This form of art is found in mostly Europe: Paris, London, Brussels, Vienna.

Cubism & Picasso

Cubism is another form of art which many artists use to get a different outcome, cubism began between 1907 and 1911 and has increased in popularity throughout the years. The inventor of cubism was Picasso, Picasso was an artist who lived in the 20th century - he created many cubism pieces and has made multiple famous art pieces including Les Demoiselles d'Avignon which was created in 1907.

Surrealism
Surrealism is a cultural movement which was discovered in the 1920's, the form of art is best known for the visual and style - this is because surrealism is more creative and different to original art. Surrealism is known for the weird, strange outcome it gives which is why it is so popular.
