Things to discuss:

- Permissions
- Libel and sensitivity to groups of society
- Decency
- Safeguarding
Copyright: What does the term mean? The term 'copyright' is a way of protecting your own work if you do not wish other to have it or take credit for it. If you wish to take credit in something which you created or wrote, you are able to place a copyright symbol or small text showing who is the original owner. If someone wanted to use another person's work with copyright, they would have to contact the owner and ask for permission. The image above is an example of how to copyright your work, in professional businesses you may have to pay an amount. Artists who have already placed copyright on their work as people such as Andy Warhol who has his own museum for his work viewed. Another artist such as Lichtenstein who is mostly famous for his pop art has his work also copyrighted.Libel and sensitivity to groups of society: All people are different which means many people have different opinions about different topics, if you are wanting to show your work or wanting to say something you should always think about other opinions and views before you say yours. This may result in offence or complaint. Many example are websites such as YouTube where people have uploaded offensive videos and people have replied their opinions.
Decency: Decency often means rude, inappropriate or explicit work which has been uploaded for the public to see. People can control this by reporting the work or sending in a complaint however people can also warn the viewer by reminding them that they are entering a explicit website and so on.
Safeguarding: Safeguarding can be related to 'decency' but this is mostly involving children and what they can view on the internet. This is mainly installed in the schools computers so that children cannot go on inappropriate or links which could cause damage.
