social networking

Social networking on the internet:

Social networking on the internet can give you many opportunities to get your work known, the pros for adding your work to the internet i.e. english work, art, graphic etc can allow you to achieve good feedback and different opinions. The internet also allows people from all over the world to discover your work and to give opportunities on getting jobs and places to show your work more professionally. Many people put things on the internet in creative ways which has a chance of getting an audience and sometimes people are lucky enough to show their hobby off in more depth. Another example are YouTubers, many people have the hobby to create videos for people to watch on a daily basis and multiple YouTubers have got the chance for their videos to be known and to create videos earning money at the same time.

Cons for social networking can be the opposite of good feedback, people may not agree or like your work so they may criticise the person and give hate. There are some people on the internet who may give hate on people's work for  their benefit however the work may be inappropriate or disturbing to the internet audience.

There are multiple websites which you are able to insert your work onto the internet:
  • Facebook
  • Twitter
  • Flickr
  • Tumblr
  • Blogger
  • YouTube
In my opinion, I think the best websites to put your primary work on are Tumblr and Youtube because they are so popular, firstly I believe Tumblr is one of the best sites due to people noticing your work by using tags. Another reason is that people can reblog your work and the audience will still be able to find the source of the piece. With Youtube, you are able to upload videos for your audience and collect views which can get you noticed in social media.

Promoting my work:
I have chosen Tumblr to place my work onto the site because that is the only site I currently use, the link to find my work is www.silence-the-w0rld.tumblr.com/project
